Telstra Hangs Up On Tasmania Yet Again! - David Bartlett, MHA - Tasmanian Government Media Releases

Telstra Hangs Up On Tasmania Yet Again! - David Bartlett, MHA - Tasmanian Government Media Releases

Member for Denison David Bartlett believes Tasmania may as well be Afghanistan when it comes to Telstra, so little does the Communications Giant care about our state.
“The straw that broke the camels back came today when Telstra removed its Corporate Affairs office from Tasmania.
“It seems Telstra aren’t even going to paint over the cracks when it comes to Tasmania, it is as plain as the nose on your face that it just doesn’t care.
"The Corporate Affairs office was often the only place I could go to get some response for my constituents for their many problems with Telstra, now it has been sent packing.
“It’s an absolute disgrace that Telstra are going to run the office for Tasmania out of Melbourne.
"This is a massive slap in the face for Tasmanians whose phone and data network is crumbling around them.
“Other than dealing with the sales people on the phone now, Tasmanians will have no where to go with their complaints."
"Why did Telstra make this move? What motive? Is it because the overwhelming level of complaints about the company not delivering on broadband to inner city suburbs got too much for them.
“I call on Telstra executives to front up to the people of Tasmania and come clean.”
